As Satan's army begins to close in, the angels need Kenny dead so that they can win the battle of the Apocalypse. Meanwhile, Cartman, claiming his status as Kenny's "best friend forever" to the Colorado Supreme Court with the first half of the BFF medallion, gets an order to take out the feeding tube, and he removes the tube after tracking down and finding Kenny's other BFF medallion half so he can get the PSP upon Kenny's death (it's implied that Cartman himself put the other medallion around Kenny's neck). Stan and Kyle, along with Kenny's parents and other protesters, wage a media war to put the feeding tube back in and keep Kenny alive, while Cartman enlists supporters of the rights of "best friends forever" to get Kenny's feeding tube removed.

After her ruse to pretend to be the Ryan Wilder of Earth-Prime was exposed when the clever Iris West-Allen caught her in a lie, Red Death admitted her identity before claiming that, in her timeline, she and Iris West-Allen were best friends. Red Death believed that she knew Iris well enough to know that no version of her would ever accept a story about someone being from another timeline at face value or give her a chance to explain herself if she came to her as Red Death. This led her to pose as the Ryan Wilder on Earth-Prime, hoping to build a connection with Iris before revealing the truth.

While the fact that she was willing to lie to Iris does not speak well of Red Death, her story is plausible in one respect. While Ryan Wilder and Iris West-Allen are only casual acquaintances in the reality of Earth-Prime, they were shown to be quite close in the alternate timeline shown in The Flash Armageddon event.
